Audi will have more than 40 models in its lineup by 2015
The new
Audi A7 Sportback made its debut on Monday, but it appears that this is just the start for the German manufacturer as it prepares to add over 40 models in its lineup by 2015.
First of all we will have the new
S7 Sportback, officially confirmed Audi’s technical director, Michael Dick but we will also see the new
Q3 Crossover as well as the next-generation
A6, both making their debut in 2011. Beside these models,
Audi will also build the new
R4 electric sports car. According to
Audi boss Rupert Stadler, this increase in the number of models would help the German manufacturer to achieve record sales. ‘We have new products, refreshed cars and we have more to come. The world economy has momentum and we have the right products. Yes, there are countries with debts that are still not resolved, but any fall will not be as severe as we have come through already. I am optimistic.’ said Rupert Stadler.
